More and more companies are starting to offer remote work for the right candidates to allow a work-life balance that we all need.

While it’s not difficult to find companies willing to let you work from home anymore, it still can be frustrating to find ones that are worth working for.

Some companies with remote work don’t let you work more than a few hours per week, don’t want to pay for you to be an employee with benefits, or have other issues that make them not-so-great places to work for.

That’s one of the reasons that I’ve gathered this list of companies that provide work at home jobs and have A+ ratings with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

Browse this list of companies and find something that matches your skills and work needs without worrying about whether it’s a good place to work.

Why are BBB Ratings Important?

No company is required to sign up for the Better Business Bureau and get accredited.

However, the BBB can still keep a file on any business that ends up with a complaint, positive review, etc., whether it’s BBB approved or not.

This is why, when you look for a BBB work from home accredited business on the site, you may only find a rating with a blurb that says the business isn’t yet accredited.

That just means that the business hasn’t put itself through the accreditation process, but it still has either complaints or reviews put through the BBB by customers.

Choosing not to get accreditation is a choice a business needs to make.

But as a consumer, it’s nice to see that a business takes so much pride in itself and what its customers think that it’s willing to take that extra step to become an accredited business, right?

Even without accreditation, the business’ BBB rating is something most people will look at when they search for the business on the BBB.

If you come across Better Business Bureau data entry jobs at one company with a D rating, it’s not likely that you’ll want to work with that company.

However, if you find a company that offers data entry jobs and has an A or A+ rating, that’s a good sign that its customers enjoy what the company provides.

Even more importantly, workers of the company can also rate it with the BBB.

So, if you scroll through the reviews, there’s a good chance that you’ll get some information from current or previous employees or contractors about how the business treats its workers.

You’ll be better equipped with the information you need to decide whether it’s a company you want to work for, which will help you in your job search.

The ratings on the BBB aren’t foolproof, though.

They take into consideration not just the reviews of the company but also how diligent the company is in responding to its reviewers and rectifying anything that went wrong.

When you see an A+ rating, it’s a good sign that a company at least tries to right its wrongdoings to make sure its customers and workers are well taken care of.
