Survey Sites with No Minimum Payout (or Super Low Minimums!)

editUpdated on: December 5, 2019 by anvitalis

Are you tired of having to wait until you reach $50 or even $30 to get paid after taking surveys? Well, you don’t need to wait. There are some survey sites that offer super low minimum payouts of $5 or less, so you can get paid faster – maybe even after you complete a survey. Admittedly, one of the most annoying things about online surveys is the fact that you usually have to wait until you reach a certain amount in rewards before you can actually get paid.

When surveys tend to usually pay between $1 and $5 and you have to wait until you get $20 or more in your account to get your cash, the whole process can get frustrating.

However, there are some survey site options out there that don’t make their survey participants wait very long for payments.

In fact, there are even some sites that’ll let you get paid right after you take a survey!

If this sounds like what you’re looking for, then read on as I explain more about minimum cashout amounts, why they’re there, and how to find low ones.

What’s a Minimum Cash Out Amount?

A minimum cash out amount refers to the amount of money you need in your survey account before you are eligible to withdraw it as cash or redeem it for a prize.

Some sites, like InboxDollars, require you to have $30 in your account before you can get paid.

Although you can make that relatively quickly there by doing tasks other than surveys, like completing offers, you probably won’t earn it very quickly from surveys alone.

Other sites, like Pinecone Research, allow you to cash out as soon as you complete a survey with a minimum of $3.

The reason survey panels have minimum cash out amounts is mostly to ensure that people keep participating in the site and don’t just sign up to take a survey, cash out their reward, and never come back again.

It’s somewhat of an incentive to keep panelists active on the platform and keep earning their way to getting a payout.

Some sites also have a higher minimum payout amount to lower the fees that are associated with each payment type.

Survey sites typically don’t have to pay fees to send an electronic gift card, but they will have to pay fees to send a PayPal payout or check payment.

By having higher payout amounts, they won’t have to spend as much money on fees, which can actually be a benefit for you.

The less a survey company has to pay in fees for payments, the more they can afford to pay their members to take surveys.

But, for you, a low minimum payout can have its benefits.

It means you get paid quicker and can potentially even get paid after taking just a couple of surveys – or even just one survey.

If you’re someone who likes instant gratification, or just wants to be able to trust that you’ll get paid without having to spend hours on the site trying to earn $30 to see if you’ll get paid, then using sites with low minimum cashout amounts is your best bet.

What’s Considered a High and Low Minimum Cash Out?

The answer to this is going to be subjective based on what you consider to be a low or high payout amount.

But in the survey world, a high minimum cashout amount is generally considered to be $25 or more.

The majority of survey sites tend to fall in the $10-$20 range, which isn’t bad; in most cases, you can expect to earn this much after taking about 10 surveys.

A low minimum cashout amount is considered to be $10 or less.

On survey sites that pay at least $1 to $2 per survey, you can expect to make this much after 5-10 surveys.

$10 is a good minimum payment to shoot for when you’re looking for survey sites because it’s attainable.

I suggest trying to stay away from any site with unreasonably high payout amounts, like $50 or more, unless the site offers high payments for each survey.

Otherwise, you’ll end up spending months taking surveys, most likely, before you can even see a payment in your account.

Low Payout Survey Websites

Now for the fun part!

I’ve put together a list of some of the top survey sites that offer low (or no!) minimum payouts.

Many of these sites are ones I personally use, so I know for a fact that they pay, and they do, indeed, have low payout amounts for gift card, PayPal cash, and other rewards.

I, too, am someone who doesn’t want to wait until I have $35 in my account to be able to see my money, which is why some of the below sites are my go-to’s when it comes to getting paid fast.

Consumer Opinion Institute – $0

This panel is mail-based for people who live in the United States only.

It uses the United States Postal Services to send you surveys through the mail.

Along with the survey will be a check for $1 to $5, so you’ll get your cash at the same time as you get the survey – no waiting to cash out at all!

There may also be some occasional online surveys that you can get invited to via email, although the site doesn’t explain how you get paid for those other than you’ll receive more information when you get the invite.

Pinecone Research – $0

The minimum payout for Pinecone Research is $3, but it’s technically a “make money PayPal, no minimum cashout” site the surveys here pay at least $3.

That means that, as soon as you get done with a survey and the company processes it, you can request a payment.

In addition to checks and VISA prepaid cards, you can cash out with PayPal, making payments super fast and convenient for people who don’t want to wait!

Mindswarms – $0

Mindswarms isn’t your typical survey site – this one has you take videos of your responses rather than log them in text-based surveys!

The best part is that you can receive up to $50 for each video survey you take, which is much more than you’ll get paid for a regular survey.

Plus, you can get your cash within a couple of days after your video responses process and get approved, so there’s no waiting around for your PayPal payment.

Even if you don’t qualify for a full 7-question survey, you can get paid $10 for each question you do answer and still get paid immediately.

SurveySavvy – $1

SurveySavvy is the only survey site that I know of that lets you cash out your money for as little as $1.

In addition to taking surveys, you can also sign up for SavvyConnect, an app that you can install in your web browser or on a mobile device.

The app tracks what you do online and reports back to clients for market research purposes.

By installing the app and keeping it there, you’ll earn $5 for each month it’s installed.

And, you can put it on multiple devices to earn more!

Because you only need $1 to cash out, you could potentially be cashing out money every month with a combination of using SurveySavvy and SavvyConnect.

Opinion Outpost – $3

Opinion Outpost offers payouts for as low as $3, or 30 points because it pays in points for each survey.

And if you opt for PayPal instead of a gift card or another reward, you still only need a minimum of 100 points, which equals $10, so you won’t have to wait very long for your cash.

Swagbucks – $3

Swagbucks isn’t just a survey site, but taking surveys is one of the many ways you can make some money in your spare time using it.

It’s fast and easy to make money here with tasks like cash back shopping, completing offers, and even playing games and doing bonus tasks.

You’ll earn points, known as SBs, for every task and they’ll accumulate in your account to cash in for a reward.

Swagbucks offers a wide range of gift cards to clothing stores, restaurants, and more, or you can opt for PayPal cash.

Some rewards – like PayPal – are yours for as little as 300 SBs, or $3, while others range from $5 and up.

MyPoints – $3

MyPoints is similar to Swagbucks and it even offers a low $3 minimum cashout amount.

Here, you can shop online to earn a percentage back of your purchase, complete daily bonus tasks, refer people, and more to earn cash.

The rewards catalog is huge, but it’s easy to find what you’re looking for.

You can even narrow down the options to $3 rewards, which include Amazon and Dunkin’ Donuts gift cards.

There are also a lot of $5 rewards, like Barnes & Noble, Lowe’s, and Nike gift cards.

E-Poll – $5

E-Poll not only has a bunch of great rewards to choose from, but it also offers cash-outs for as little as $5.

The panel pays in points and it can be a little confusing to figure out how many points equal the dollar amount of a reward, but you can always check the prize catalog to see what you’re eligible for.

E-Poll has rewards for PayPal, Best Buy, Walmart.com, and more available for as little as $5.

Survey Junkie – $10

This popular survey site helps you have a voice in shaping some of your favorite brands.

You can receive your payments with as little as $10 in your account in the form of an electronic gift card or a PayPal transfer.

Branded Surveys – $10

If you’re looking for sites like Survey Junkie with a $10 minimum cashout, then this one is a good choice.

Branded Surveys is another site that pays in points, but it’s easy to figure out: 1,000 points equals $10, and that’s all you need to get your reward.

Branded Surveys is quick to pay, too, with most rewards making their way to you within 3 business days.

The site offers PayPal payments and electronic gift cards.

Conclusion: Survey Sites with No Minimum Payout (or Low Minimum Payouts)

I hope you enjoy checking out these survey sites and getting paid fast!

There are some other sites out there that mention having low or no minimum payouts, but the ones I listed above are some of my personal favorites.

If you want to look for others, you can usually find payment information in the Help or FAQ section of the site.

If not, you may want to contact the company via social media or email to find out before registering and wasting your time.

Good luck!
