Onlinepanel.net Paid Survey Review: Does New Mean Better?

editUpdated on: August 3, 2018 by anvitalis

OnlinePanel.net is a new paid survey panel. There are so many scams, new panels can get a bad rap just because they are new. We took a closer look so you could make a decision without second guessing.

It seems everyone these days wants to make money online.  There are so many ways to do this, but it is hard to figure out what is actually worth your time and what isn’t.

The one thing that always comes up in this discussion is getting paid to take surveys.

Is it worth it? Sometimes. You just have to find the right panels.  Is OnlinePanel.com a good one?

Let’s find out.

What is OnlinePanel.net?

This is a typical paid survey site that offers incentives for doing all kinds of things, not just surveys.  The parent company is BuyBizCharts, LTD.

It has been around for 9 years and has its headquarters in Hong Kong.

BuyBizCharts conducts global market research and is located at:

907 Silvercord Tower 2, 30 Canton Road

Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon

Hong Kong

How to Join OnlinePanel.net

It’s easy to join.  The process is very similar to other survey sites.  You go to OnlinePanel.net and click to join.  You will be asked for the standard contact information.

Be sure to check your email when you are done because you will not be a member until you click through the email they send to verify your email address.

You must be at least 16 years old and live in an English speaking country such as Australia, Canada, the UK, or the United States to sign up.

BuyBizCharts operates all over the world.  In fact, you can change the language on the page just by clicking on whichever one you want at the top of the page.

The first thing you should do after you verify your email address is head over to the survey section and find the profile surveys.

Doing these will ensure you waste less time screening out of surveys you don’t qualify for. They also pay points, so it is a good way to get started.

How Can I Make Money?

There is more than one way to make money on this site.  Surveys are just part of it.  Let’s break it down.

About the Surveys

The main way to get paid from OnlinePanel.com is to complete surveys.  You will see several survey links on your dashboard.

The first one is for what the site considers the best survey opportunities, and the other is a list of the most popular opportunities.  All the others are listed under the “plenty more” option.

I was a little disappointed that many of the surveys were actually links to other survey sites.

That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as the more sites you join, the higher your money-making potential is.  I was already a member of most of them, however.

The standard surveys listed did not say how long they would take, but they did let you know the demographic they were looking for like “women” or “young adults. “

They all paid between 400 and 1500 points, and the main link said most surveys would take 10 to 20 minutes.

Short Tasks

Another way you can earn money on OnlinePanel.net is by completing tasks.  Almost every task was related to signing up with a third party to take surveys.

There were a few trial offers as well. Each one paid between 1,200 and 5,000 points.

This isn’t a bad way to earn points either, but you have to weigh the time the task will take against the number of points it pays.  Not all the opportunities are worth it, but some may be depending on your specific situation.

Don’t forget to read the fine print to be sure you are aware of exactly what has to be done to earn the points.

For example, you may have to complete a survey or make a purchase before points are credited.

Making Money Doing Micro Jobs

Under the Micro Jobs link, you will find a ton of quick tasks that pay a few cents to a couple of dollars each.

This part of the site is powered by Figure Eight, and you will have to create an account with them before you can complete a job.

It is free and fast, and the only downside I saw was that I had to give and verify my phone number.

I have not received anything from them on my phone, so I am not too worried about that.

The 18 different types of tasks listed paid between 13 and 51 cents each.  The one I tried required looking at a picture and filling in information about it.  It was fast and easy.

One task had 7 of these, and it took me 3 minutes or so to complete.  I would imagine I would get faster as I did more.

There were 56 of this particular type of task posted.

What is Apps Lab

This money- making opportunity was the most interesting to me. There is a list of apps that you can download to your device, and you earn points for doing it!

In fact, you could earn from 640 to 9,600 points.

Some of the offers require more than just downloading.  For example, if it is a gaming app, you may have to make it to a certain level to earn your points.

How Do I Get Paid?

The minimum payout is 10,000 points, or $10.  Once you reach this, the money will be automatically sent via PayPal.

Be sure they have your correct PayPal information, because they do not reverse deposits made to the wrong account.

It takes at least 30 days after reaching the cash out minimum to receive your money.

How Much Can I Get?

It varies.  The company says you can make up to $4 per survey.  I didn’t’ see any available for that much, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

How much you make taking surveys depends completely on what is available that you are eligible for at any one time.

The highest paying survey I saw paid 1,200 points, or $1.20.  It would take less than 10 of those to reach the payout, but most of them paid less than $1.

The longer surveys pay more, but if $4 is the top, that means you could be taking hour-long surveys for only $4.

You could earn more working Micro Jobs if you work fast.  The best thing to do is work a few to see how long it is going to take you and then make the decision based on your speed and what the job pays.

In the example of the one I tried it paid 13 points per task, which is just over a penny.  It took me around 3 minutes to do it.

Assuming that didn’t change and I was able to complete all 56 of the tasks that were available at that pace, it would have taken me just over two and a half hours.

I would have made 728 points, which is almost 79 cents.

You could likely do better than this.  That is just an example of why you need to pay attention to how much a job pays versus how long it will take to complete.

Downloading Apps

You can make decent pocket change downloading and testing the apps.  The first one listed right now is worth 9,600 points, which is just 400 points shy of your first cash out deposit.

The only drawback is I cannot tell how often they post new app opportunities.  If you try them all and new ones are not posted often, you are out of luck.

Definitely download all you can whenever you can.

In the end, how much you can make depends on your demographics for surveys, how quickly you can work micro jobs, and how many apps you want to downloads.

Privacy

The privacy policy is posted on the site and seems pretty solid.

They don’t use your email for anything other than to send you updates on available surveys, and your personal information is for determining survey eligibility.

I have not seen an increase in spam since signing up.

Is OnlinePanel.net Legit or a Scam?

I think they are legit.  They are new, so not a lot of chatter is going on about them right now.

There are no complaints though, so that is always good.  Users are much more likely to spread bad news than good news.

They don’t ask for payment for credit card information, so there are no worries there either.

Conclusion

As far as online panels that pay-go, this is one you should sign up for.  You won’t get rich, but that is true of any paid survey site.

The low cash out minimum and auto deposit are definite pluses.  The App downloads are what really puts this one over the top.

Combined with other recommended sites, this one could increase your earnings potential substantially.
