Consumer Link Paid Survey Review: Are They Still Worth It?

Consumer Link Review

Taking surveys is a popular way to earn money from home. Consumer Link is just one of hundreds of sites that pay for surveys.

What is Consumer Link

Consumer Link was a pretty standard, international paid survey panel.  I say was, because it no longer exists.  It is closed.  That doesn’t mean game over for you though.

We have a list of our recommended sites that will help you get well on your way to making as much as possible taking surveys online.

Better Alternatives

Survey Junkie

Run by Blue Media Ventures, Survey Junkie is a younger site in relation to the others on our top recommended list.  They have only been around for 7 years, but they are accredited by the BBB.  This is a pretty big deal compared to the other survey sites out there.  Many of them have a good rating, but few are accredited.

Speaking of ratings, they have an A+ from the BBB, and only one negative review.  That isn’t bad over the course of 7 years.

Swagbucks

Swagbucks didn’t begin as a survey site.   It was more of a shop and earn site.  However, there are now multiple ways to earn on Swagbucks, and surveys are a big part of that.    Similar to other sites, you can earn points, or in this case Swagbucks, for completing surveys and other tasks.

InboxDollars

InboxDollars began as a paid email site, but it has now added other ways to earn.  They kept the paid email option, but surveys and other tasks have been added as well.  Some are more profitable than others, but the variety makes this site a comparatively high earner.

MySurvey

This is one of those survey companies that gets mixed reviews.  Some love it, some don’t.  Typically, it depends on your expectations.  They are an old company, going back to 1946.  Then, they were known as National Family Opinion panel, and of course, there was no internet.  They hit the net in 2001 as an established, well-known marketing research company.

They were purchased by Lightspeed Research in 2010.  Look up Lightspeed on the BBB, and you may be surprised.  Remember though, they own multiple companies.  Just one complaint on a couple of those companies can bring the whole rating down.  The survey branch isn’t doing so bad.

There are some not so great reviews, but that is to be expected over such a long life-span.  So far, the good far outweighs the bad.  The overall reputation is good, and that is why it is still one of our top recommended survey sites.

Toluna

Since Toluna is recommended by us, you can trust them.  This is just another way to make sure you are being as careful as possible and avoiding scams.

Conclusion

No one is going to get rich taking surveys.  It is a great way to make some extra cash though.

You just have to be diligent to sign up only for legit survey companies that are worth your time.

Consumer Link may be closed, but these recommended sites are great alternatives.
