Did you know that some websites reward you simply for signing up for them?
The reward is known as a sign-up bonus, and it often ranges anywhere from $1 to $10, simply for filling out the registration form and opening your account.
The sites that do this are usually survey and reward sites that also pay you once you become a member to complete the tasks on their sites.
Really, it’s a win-win for you!
It’s free to register for these sites, plus you’ll get paid to do it, so you have nothing to lose.
The sites I’ve listed below will give you a bonus just for heading to their website and registering for an account.
Note that you have to be a new member with a new account to get these bonuses.
If the site finds out that you already have an account and make a new one, you could risk both accounts getting shut down.
If you were to sign up as a new member for each one of the sites below, you’ll make an easy $106 just in bonuses!
Reward Sites to Join and Earn Money
The sites below are reward, or Get Paid To (GPT), sites that offer bonuses when you sign up as a new member.
Some of these sites are cashback shopping sites, while others offer a wide range of tasks like paid gaming, paid searches, or cash offers.
BeFrugal – $10
If you’ve ever used a cashback shopping site, then you’ll be pretty familiar with the way BeFrugal works.
If not, here’s the gist:
- Log into your account
- Find a retailer you want to shop with or an offer to complete
- Click the link to go to the site
- Make your purchase (making sure you follow the directions for the offer)
- Get cash back in your BeFrugal account (usually, a percentage of your purchase amount)
It’s easy, and it’s a great way to get a little money back for your online purchases that you’d make anyway.
BeFrugal is one of many on the web, but it’s one of few that’ll pay you just to sign up, too – $10, to be exact!
That’s an awesome sign-up bonus.
Cash4Offers – $5
Get an easy $5 to sign up for Cash4Offers, a place that, like its name suggests, focuses mostly on paid offers you can complete to earn cash.
You can also take surveys, read emails, refer others to the site, or sign up for trials to earn rewards.
This site has been around since 2003, so it’s one of the older ones around.
Once you reach your first payment, you will be eligible to get faster payments within 72 hours of cashing out.
CreationsRewards – $5
Another site that pays its new members $5 to create their account, CreationsRewards is one that offers a wide variety of paid tasks, like reading emails, playing games, referring other members, and shopping online for cash back.
Once you have enough points for a reward, you can redeem them for favorites like Amazon or Walmart gift cards, or even PayPal cash.
To be eligible for the bonus, you’ll need to make sure you verify your account by clicking the link in the email the site sends you to verify that your email address is correct.
DailyRewards – $5
DailyRewards might look very familiar to you if you’re already aware of InboxDollars (more on that site in a moment!
That’s because it comes from the same people who started the popular GPT site, so it looks just about the same on the sign-up page, and it even offers many of the same tasks once inside.
You’ll also get the same $5 bonus to sign up!
Make sure you complete your email activation and fill out your profile once you register to earn your bonus.
FusionCash – $5
This is another oldie in the GPT world, but it’s still hanging on as one of the most popular.
Part of that could be due to its $5 bonus, but there are also a lot of money-making and fun tasks you can complete on the site.
To get the bonus, you’ll need to register your account, confirm your email address, and then take a brief survey about your basic information to help you complete your profile.
Once you’re a member, you can get rewarded for things like cash offers, games, paid-to-click tasks, and even posting on the site’s community forum.
InboxDollars – $5
InboxDollars is one of the pioneers of the GPT world.
I first joined it during its early years, and even back then it paid out a $5 bonus to new members!
I’m glad to see that the tradition still lives on while other sites tend to drop their bonuses after they get a bunch of new sign-ups.
With InboxDollars, you can earn money through surveys, paid web searches, paid emails, offers, and more.
Once you get your first $30, you can cash out for a check.
After your first payment, you’ll be eligible to choose different payment methods, like a prepaid VISA card.
MyPoints – $10
MyPoints offers a gracious $10 bonus for new members to sign up!
This site is mostly about cash back shopping, but it also offers games, daily bonus tasks, cash back for using coupons, surveys, paid videos, and more.
MyPoints is also one of the few GPT sites that frequently releases promo codes on social media for its members to use to boost their points!
There are several rewards to choose from when you have enough points, including PayPal cash and gift cards to places like Amazon, Lowe’s, Dunkin’ Donuts, Walmart, Target, and L.L. Bean.
Rakuten – $10
The site that was once known as Ebates has rebranded to Rakuten.
Although the site looks a little different, it still features everything people loved about Ebates, including awesome cash back shopping offers, referral bonuses, travel deals.
The site also has double cash back shopping deals throughout the year for more ways to earn rewards on your purchases.
You’ll get $10 for signing up for Rakuten as a new member, but note that if you were already a member of Ebates, your account will transfer over to Rakuten, so you won’t be eligible for the bonus.
SendEarnings – $5
SendEarnings is another member of the InboxDollars family, which is why it’ll look familiar to you when you visit.
To get your $5 bonus, you’ll need to confirm the email address you signed up with.
Then, you’ll be eligible to get another $0.50 bonus quickly by completing a few more tasks, like filling out a profile survey and completing a paid web search.
Once you got all your bonuses, feel free to browse the site and see what else is available.
I suggest first checking out the My Deals section, which has some offers specific to your location and demographics, through which you can boost your earnings quickly to get your first payment.
Swagbucks – $5, or $10 with a Promo/Referral Code
I love Swagbucks for so many reasons, but if I needed another reason, it’s the fact that it pays out $5 to every new member who registers an account.
And, you can make $10 instead if you use someone’s referral code to register or find a promo code online that gives you the deal (they’re easy to find with a simple Google search).
Once you get signed up for Swagbucks, you’ll have access to its multiple ways to earn, including playing games, entering contests, getting cashback for online shopping, completing offers, reading emails, and taking surveys.
One of the things I like most about this site is that it seems to always have some sort of promotion going on, like bonus games or scratch-offs to earn more points, or discounted rewards so you don’t have to save up as many points to get them.
Prizes here are redeemable for as little as 300 SBs, or about $3.
Survey Sites That Pay Bonuses
The following sites are ones that you can use just for taking surveys, and they all pay some money to register.
Opinion Inn – $10
Opinion Inn is the only survey site I know of that pays new members $10 to register an account.
Survey sites usually pay smaller bonuses to get members to sign up than rewards sites do, but Opinion Inn’s bonus is right in line with top GPT site bonuses.
Once you register, you’ll need to fill out your profile to be eligible to receive survey invitation emails, in which the survey topic and pay will be listed.
Complete surveys to earn rewards through PayPal when you have a minimum of $25 in your account.
Panda Research – $3
Panda Research pays $3 to new members who sign up and take their first survey.
So, it’s technically not a sign-up bonus because you’ll need to complete a survey to get it, but the pay is more than what you’d typically get for a survey here, and you can get it immediately after signing up and filling out the survey.
In addition to surveys, you can make money with occasional paid offers and emails on this site.
Panda Research also connects you to surveys from other top survey companies to get you paid faster.
Reach $25 in your account to get a PayPal payment, which gets processed twice per month.
Univox Community – $2
This is both a site and an app where members can take surveys that are relevant to them and their interests and get paid for their time.
Plus, you’ll get an easy $2 (paid in 200 points) just to sign up for your account.
The app is available for Android and Apple devices.
Payments are available as a Tango gift card, PayPal cash, Amazon gift card, or a virtual MasterCard.
Vindale Research – $1
Vindale Research is one of the oldest survey sites on the internet, and it’s known for paying some of the highest payouts to members.
In some cases – like long-form surveys and focus groups – you can make up to $50 for your time.
You’ll get a $1 bonus when you register (bumped down from what used to be $2, unfortunately), and you’ll get paid in real cash rather than points for each survey you complete.
Vindale Research pays with PayPal.
Bonus: Get PayPal Cash When You Open a New Account!
Are you interested in opening a PayPal account and want to know if there’s a PayPal sign up bonus?
Well, you might be in luck – depending on when you decide to join, that is.
PayPal offers bonuses throughout the year, but there’s never a guarantee when one will become available.
I’ve seen them during the holiday season sometimes, with bonuses up to $20 when you make an online purchase using a new PayPal account.
Usually, to qualify for the bonus, you’ll need to spend a minimum amount of money on your purchase and you’ll need to be a new PayPal user.
These promotions usually don’t last long – a couple of weeks in most cases – so make sure you snatch it up if you find one.
You can find available promotions on the PayPal website or by searching a relevant term on Google, like “PayPal sign up bonus.”
Get Paid to Sign Up for Websites: Final Thoughts
Making money just for signing up sounds great, right?
Remember, though, that you have to be a new member to be eligible for these bonuses.
Signing up again for a site you’re already a member of can get your accounts banned, which you definitely don’t want to do.
These bonuses can be the perfect way for you to boost your earnings and reach your first payment quicker than you normally would, which gives you the chance to test out the site, get paid, and see if the whole process is for you.
Good luck signing up and earning!
